David Cohen wanted us to visit Peer Services, to see if they would be a good fit for D.
My first concern was that when David talked about them, D knew all about it. He dropped friends off for their sessions.
C and D went together for a 3:30 meeting, arriving just before 4pm.
C waited outside the office, filling out paperwork, which D went in the with counselor. I got there around 4:30 and could hear D laughing and chatting, turning on the charm, although the words with muffled and not understandable.
The office was small, with interior walls and doors added to make as many small offices as possible.
Once D finished with the counselor, she invited us in to go over things.
D has stated that he is not willing to release his test results.
When she said that, D had a smirky smile on his face, as though he's proud of pulling something over, or grabbing control when we can't do anything about it.
The counselor took D for a drop test and said she would call to follow up after the results came in. My guess is her suggestions will change based on if D was using.
She said she'd get back in a week or so, so we'll wait and see what the suggestions are.
